2025
Hey everyone! Long time no see.
I’m alive, but the same can’t be said for my gaming habit. In 2025 I barely played anything, but I also managed to not buy anything, so the backlog at least didn’t get a whole lot bigger when I wasn’t looking.
This year I added a whooping 6 games to the backlog, and 4 of these were gifted by kind friends!
Life has been busy - I finally got a job in July. Before that it felt like any time spent on gaming was a waste because I could be applying to jobs instead and after that I just didn’t have much free time to dedicate to much of anything. But in 2026 I’m hoping to get back into gaming, even if by very little, and at least tackle a game or two from my backlog!
Note: It’s somewhat amusing to me that I bought Moonlighter a while ago, couldn’t play, refunded, and then got it gifted again this year. This is the universe’s way of telling me to play that game.

You got gifted some good ones though, Moonlighter is pretty fantastic, what was the issue that prevented you from playing it? Just busy irl? I can’t recall any bugs.
Haha yeah. I finished 0 games in 2025, so… I really couldn’t justify buying when I wasn’t playing anything.
I don’t really remember, I think I was just bad at it, or it was a controller problem (my controller was giving me trouble). But I’ve started it again and this time I’m enjoying it a lot!
