Update 122: August 2023
How has August come and gone already D:
Enjoyed the HOS. It's a nice short scene, wouldn't really call it a game.

Enjoyed the HOS. It's a nice short scene, wouldn't really call it a game. Had some problems with this one to find all the frogs -_-
Was a nice little games, sadly the getting all different kinds of tea achievement is quiet annoying since it takes forever and you have to replay the short game over and over again
I quiet enjoyed this little gem. You are basically playing three different stories in the life of the three friends.
Cute little kinetic novel about how the two chars met, nothing overly sexual.
Cute game about a little girl that takes pictures of the wildlife on the island and tries to help save the wildlife preserve by cleaning it up and doing some quests for the people in town.
Nice little puzzle game
Nice little puzzle game
Nice little puzzle game
Cute puzzle game where you have to find fat, cute little cats by solving puzzles
This game is called 16bit trader… but you shouldn't trade cause there is no money in it. Buy treasure maps, get yourself some workers and go into mines. That's how you get a lot of money.
Did the arcade mode. It is an okaish pretty old fishing game.
A cute HOG, can't for the life of me find the missing cats. Not sure if I am just blind or if it is a bug.
A cute puzzle game, where you have to try to put the fat, little cat into the cookie jar.
This game doesn't fall into the RPG category. It lacks significant character development and genuine role-playing elements. You can unlock some "professions" in the skill tree, which occasionally lead to additional dialogue choices, but overall, this mechanic has minimal impact.
It doesn't fit the mold of a "detective" game either. The conclusions have little consequence, and you reach them by basically clicking on everything in sight.
The writing leaves much to be desired. The "choices" you make hardly influence the story's progression; the narrative keeps moving forward regardless of your actions. It's an okay game, but nothing to write home about.
A little maze game. Only annoying thing is that it wishes you a happy St. Patricks Day on conclusion of every level.
I liked the games premise, but in later levels the difficulty ramps up quiet a bit and you have to hit every shot 100% for some of the levels to finish
The game, a classic from Telltale Games, offers a delightful nostalgic trip to the world of dinosaurs. However, it leans heavily on Quick-Time Events (QTEs), demanding precision.
The game excels in capturing the essence of the Jurassic Park universe, immersing players in a suspenseful story on Isla Nublar. It faithfully recreates the park's atmosphere and features impressive visuals and okaish voice acting, you can tell it's an older game.
Yet, the abundance of QTEs can frustrate players. Missing a prompt often leads to setbacks in the storyline or an untimely death and most achievements are for not dieing or 100% hitting all QTEs. Despite this, the game remains a worthy addition for fans, offering a memorable journey into the world of dinosaurs.
A Short Hike is a heartwarming indie game that seamlessly combines adventure and puzzles. Playing as Claire, a bird, your goal is to reach Hawk Peak Provincial Park's summit. This indie gem boasts lovely pixel art, a tranquil soundtrack, and engaging puzzles that cater to all skill levels.
The game's open-ended design lets you explore at your own pace, with delightful diversions like fishing and treasure hunting. Despite its brevity, A Short Hike leaves a lasting impression as an artful, heartwarming gaming experience that's perfect for a cozy gaming session.
Mortal Kombat X successfully blends intense combat with a captivating storyline. This installment continues the saga 25 years after the previous game, delivering a narrative that unfolds through cinematic cutscenes and interactive elements, interspersed with intense fights.
What sets Mortal Kombat X apart is its character-driven storytelling, with each fighter possessing a unique and engaging backstory. This depth adds emotional investment to the game rarely seen in the fighting genre.
While the combat remains satisfyingly brutal and complex, it's the game's ability to deliver a substantial narrative experience that truly shines. Mortal Kombat X proves that fighting games can offer both thrilling battles and a compelling journey through a rich and immersive world.
It's a visually striking indie game that's a true gem. Set in a storybook world, it follows the journey of Abby, a marionette, as she seeks freedom from her strings. The game's unique gameplay mechanic allows you to manipulate the environment by controlling Abby's strings, adding a refreshing twist to the platformer genre. With its charming narrative and captivating art style.
It's a serene and contemplative puzzle game. With its minimalist design and ambient soundtrack, it encourages players to relax and engage their minds. The gameplay centers around sliding a raindrop through a maze of obstacles, requiring careful planning and logical thinking. The levels progressively challenge your problem-solving skills while immersing you in a tranquil atmosphere. I really enjoyed it.
Didn't really enjoy it as much as the other two entries. Crashes every time you try to tab out and you have to kill it via task manager. Also found the story line switching between now and the past rather confusing.
The game presents engaging puzzles, perfect for honing your word skills. However, the experience is marred by numerous bugs, notably one that prevents progression without tabbing out of the current level to unlock the next part. This disrupts the flow and enjoyment of the game. If the technical issues are addressed, "Crossword City Chronicles" has the potential to be a great choice for word puzzle lovers, but until then, it falls short of its promise due to these persistent glitches.
It's a visually striking cyberpunk RPG. The dystopian setting is immersive with impressive detail. However, the keyboard and mouse controls often feel less than intuitive. This can hamper the overall experience for PC players. It got better once I decided to use a controller.
