Crow

4/10

Lesson for today. Don't play steam version of old mobile games. I tried to play it for Lion's Heart event on Steamgifts, but I gave up. I would say that gameplay is a variation on endless runner - you are flying toward and trying to avoid things that are going to you. Problem - on 3d game I have problems with perception - I cannot say how close to me objects are. So I'm just flying frantically from one corner to another and hope for the best. I stopped playing on final boss - it has at least 3 fases, and one hit would kill you. And of course no checkpoints in the middle so do it flawlessly or start from the beginning. Pass.
Oh. And don't try to do Alt+tab - it's breaking the game. Because why the heck bother about that.

Assassin Creed 2

8/10

Shameful fact: I have never played Assassin Creed, except maybe half an hour on first one (I got bored quickly). Even more shameful fact: I think I have all major Assassins from 1 to Unity. So I'm going to go through the series. Slowly.
I love the parkour mechanic in this game. Running and jumping from roof to roof is so much fun. I also love NPC's - most of them have charming personalities - especially young Leonardo da Vinci and Caterina Sforza. The main story is quite good, although side missions (assassinations of random people) are getting boring reaaally quick. I just started to ignore them. I had some problems with controls, till the end my assassin sometimes did strange things and ignored my input. Also - it's another game with good old problem "I have sooo much cash and much to few things to buy". But beside that - I had great time with Ezio and I will surely continue the series.

I’m not yet near the AC end (played last Freedom Cry which is the small game after AC IV Black Flag), buuuuuuuuuuut, so far Ezio is still THE BEST! \o/
Hope you’ll enjoy the rest of the series as well :]

You’re definitely right about the money problem lol. I also have a bunch of the games and haven’t beaten them. I’ve played a lot of the older ones to varying degrees, but I’ve only beaten 2, Brotherhood, and 3. Brotherhood is next for you, it’s my all time favourite. Everything done in 2 is expanded on and done better. The only thing I missed from 2 is the variety of cities.

Just a fact you might or might not be aware of: In Crow, enemies will one-shot you if you spared more than one boss, because that triggers a hard mode. Because that’s a brilliant idea… not. I beat the game on the “intended mode” (=killing the bosses) and had a somewhat decent survivability on the last boss.

As far as Ass Creed games go, personally I loved the first one. Altair was just so badass and I liked the focus on stealth and the creed thorough most of the game.
The second game was fine, though it felt more like a GTA game set in the Renaissance era. I played Ass Creed III but lost interest about half-way through for some reason.
I should probably go back to finish that one day, and then play Unity :)

Aquilla

That explains a few things in Crow. And if you wont spare those enemies they are appearing in the end and your bossfight is twice that long. Sounds legit…

Lucky Thirteen

I don’t think the killed bosses were appearing during the final fight, but I’m not 100% sure so I won’t argue that. In any case, being able to survive a couple of hits is pretty helpful :D

Aquilla

I killed the first one and it appeared.

Lucky Thirteen

Hmm, ok. What exactly were you fighting in the end, btw? I mean, what was the “main boss” of your game? I fought the… evil thing that urged the crow to corrupt everything.

Aquilla

The same. I don’t think that there is any difference here.

Lucky Thirteen

Ah, ok. Thanks, was wondering if it would be any different.

No shame necessary! :)
Part of the reason I keep buying the AC games is because I know I’ll also get through them eventually. AC2 is my favorite so far though… out of the three that I’ve played… :D (first, second, and Brotherhood)

For 2 though, I really just loved wandering around historic Italy. It was awesome to be able to “live” in the lands of so many renaissance painters! I’m quite looking forward to Origins for similar reasons. Although I finished the first one, I didn’t collect everything in that one, and if I were to do so later, I’d definitely use a guide. I ended up 100%ing AC2, but even for that one, I finally used a guide for the last few flags.

Aquilla

I didn’t do everything too. I think I had around 50% of feathers and chests.
