Report #231: Kentucky Route Zero
Unfinished game beaten.
I just "finished" Kentucky Route Zero. Not sure though, if I can really mark it as beaten, because technically I am missing the last act to play.
The game was released in 2013 and slowly releasing the chapters. Rumors are telling, that the last act might release 2019 for real. We'll see
The parts you can play are really cool. A lot to read and a lot to decide. Worth playing
i didn’t realize it wasn’t fully out. maybe it will be by the time i get around to it.
I’ve also been holding off until the game is complete. They’re not working on any set schedule it seems, though.
I played the first three chapters with Madison back in college, and I liked them a lot. Haven’t played the fourth yet—I’m waiting for the 5th to come out first, which I hope will be sometime before the end of 2020.
I love these games, though! The art style and the atmosphere—it’s lovely, isn’t it? What was your favorite scene or element?
Yep…my kind of game. But I generally won’t start a game (or book series) if it’s not finished. Looking at you, Game of Thrones
