Main Quest #20 - 02 February 2019
What a game! I only heard great things about this one and still, it surpassed my expectations. It has everything you might want in a game and even more! After 60 hours invested in less than a month, this game completely took over my life (especially in the past two weeks) and I only completed like 28% of it? I did around 60 out of the 100 substories and a bit of Real Estate and Club Management but, in the first one I couldn’t beat one of the area’s challenges (5 million points in OutRun, only reached 3,574) and the second didn’t really catch my interest.
Definitely one of the best games I’ve played yet even though I haven’t played many.

I guess I’m part of the minority. Everyone seems to be praising this game but I couldn’t get into it. I bought it for virtual Japan, and yep, it’s nicely detailed. However, I eventually asked for a refund because I’m not really a fan of those obscenely long cutscenes and weird visual novel style dialogues, among other things.
Welcome to the Yakuza fanclub, brother! I had no idea why I missed the series back in the PS2 era, but I’m so glad SEGA is porting the series to PC.
Like you I wasn’t expecting much from it, but ended up getting so invested in it. Everything just feels so lived in and jammed with content. Reminds me I have to finish the game soon though.
