I can't believe I've never bothered to complete this game before, it's been in my backlog for over 9 years and, simply said, it's AWESOME!
I loved the original story, mechanics, platforming…
Gotta admit though, towards the end it got a bit troublesome and hard. But totally worth it!
Yeah this is a great game. I decided to go back to it and get some more achievements in an earlier save after beating it, not realizing I only had an autosave and hadn’t re-brained the children yet. So now I have to beat the final area again for that achievement :(.

Yaaaayyy, oh I’m so glad you liked it! Psychonauts is one of the formative games of my youth, and it was INCREDIBLY rewarding to be able to play it as an adult. I remember as a kid thinking ‘oh no WAY am I ever going to collect all the figments!’ I don’t typically feel ‘proud’ of achievements I get, but I definitely felt proud getting that one! (It’s on my achievement showcase to this day c: )
What was your favorite level? Psychonauts 2 is around the corner, so luckily you won’t have to wait as long as I did for a continuation!
Yeah the ending is all over the place and I’ve completed the whole game so I can tell you that getting every doodle was a nightmare. In the end I had to search up a guide saying where it is only to find them all. 1 of them was even outside the map area being sneaky

I’m tempted to complete it, on the other hand… My backlog is way to big and so many more games I’d like to play to waste more time just on finding the missing webs/doodles/etc :-)
