Aquilla

Finished in July (10, 11, 12)

I dropped two games I was challenged with, because I just cannot beat final levels. Beside that - one little awesome game.

I was CRAVING for a game like this. You are a painter. Your mother asked you before death to go to the little island, and paint some of her favourite places. And thats all. No big story, no plot twists. You are just visiting this Island as a tourist, talk with local people, helping with their problems and painting. You need to finish a few quests to unlock the whole island and actually paint those pictures for mum, but most of them are completely optional. You are doing them, because you want to help - you want to know who is stealing apples from a farmer, or catch a fish which ate a wedding ring. Or you are just sightseeing, painting pictures. The game has a lot of technical issues - animations can be a bit glitchy, at some point I had two right hands, there are frame drops, and dont event ask me about a kayak - you are putting it on water and in 30% of cases he will just jump and land on the shore upside down. But I don’t care - I love games where you can just relax and walk, search for interesting things and not care about saving the world.

Game from a challenge. I LOVED Tony Hawk games in my childhood and I’m searching for good game in that type, but this is more Trials type of game. You need to beat the course, you can do some tricks to reach secondary goals, there are a bunch of levels to unlock but
controls are a bit to clunky for me, and I’m giving up,

Game from a challenge. It’s an OK platformer. You are a black ball, you can stick yourself to platforms, swing from platform to platform, and you are going through level till you reach a black hole. No story, no cutscenes, simple, but nice looking graphic. I had my dose of fun, beat around 75 levels from 90, but now I’m stuck and after hour or two of trying I have no desire to push myself harder. So it’s going into “too hard” category.

The Eastshade looks very interesting - artistic and calm. Wishlisted, thank you for your insight and pointing out this game to us. ;)

I’m also interested in Eastshade. Definitely will consider a future buy!

I’m very happy to make a little advertisement for the game :) .

I agree with OlliOlli. At least having played the first game. Just really clunky overall.
