Happy New Year everyone! :)

This year I have completed 97 games (not counting simply beaten games here) which is 27 games less than last year. 2023 was definitely a shitshow of a year where work and some other personal stuff got in the way of gaming, but I have the feeling 2024 is going to be a good one, even tho maybe not for the gaming front.

To complete more games than I add to my backlog.

LOL I failed so miserably its not even funny. I added 142 games to the backlog and only completed 97 of them.

Goal for 2024

I don’t have one. I will just see what happens :)

Oh well, you still managed to complete 97, that is an impressive amount! The backlog is always growing anyway - as long as you are enjoying what you are playing.

My goal for 2024 was to try not add too many games to the backlog - and yesterday I managed to get two games already added. So… going well tbh 😂

Well for the past 2 years my backlog actually shrank down so not managing it this year is a bit more disappointing to me but yea, I am not too fussed about it.

On a relativ base, you are still making progress. Also, nearly completed 100 games. that is quite good. I dont complete nearly as much. Though I also hardly at on Steam anything. Have many keys still sitting around for activation ….

I was unemployed at the beginning of the year so that helped a bit with the amount of games. Nowadays I don’t get anywhere as much done. But any completition is good I guess :)

Humble monthly bundle has been terrible for my stats, especially when I forget to pause it, so my ratio is even worse. But 97 games is great progress regardless.

Would you recommend No Place Like Home? That genre has become oversaturated with lots of lazy/unfinished stuff cough My Time at Portia cough that still get praised, so it’s hard to tell what is actually good. But seeing they bothered to make hats for farm animals gives me hope for some reason.

Yea I never buy those (well, I have bought 2 in total ever since the beginning of them being a thing) so I guess that helps me a bit.
