Monthly Update: December 2023
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I played only a little at the start of the month, and then suddenly the last week or so I've been no-lifeing My Time at Portia. I WILL get 100% achievements this time.. I had 80 hours earlier in the month from around 2019 when I played. Now I'm at.. uh... well. Anyway. I started a new game because of the Emily Romance achievement. I have now gone further into the game than before. (This whole time of my life will be invisible on Steams Replay hahaha)

I just finished Sandrock and you are making me want to play Portia!!!! How could you!!! (It’s such a lovely photo.)

I really want to get Sandrock! I actually went to buy it a couple months ago on GMG (I had some wallet credit at the time), but it was removed a week before, and doubled in price on Steam, due to being officially released haha.
So I decided well, I haven’t finished Portia…
Portia has been great fun! I’ve just started the Pumpkin Princess quest. I need to not forget to fertilise the pumpkin and it should be good…
I’m also not liking the whole multiple romance achievements. I don’t want to be mean and divorce/cheat on partners! I’d much prefer them all be quests you get at max relationship points and be able to romance whoever honestly.
Achievement I’m most worried about is the gambling one. I keep attempting it as I go, so maybe it will pop before its the last left…
Dw about the gambling one, that’s RNG. Emily’s is without question, the roughest, as if I recall, takes an entire in-game year of constant watering and supervising. Make those multi-save files.

I had all swords, and the achievement didn’t pop that first time after several hours of trying haha.
I gave up for a bit after that. Came back and got it maybe the 3rd spin? Glad that one is done.
I’m just about at the end of Spring, so I’m nearly halfway into the Pumpkin Princess quest. Hopefully it’s all gone well - I’ve checked the completed quests and it seems to be on track so far.
Now to try do the other RNG achievement, Scissors, Paper, Rock… :D

Wow, impressive amount of hours in Portia. It almost makes me wanna go back and finish it (somehow i never did) before starting Sandrock.

Apparently it’s hard to go back to Portia after Sandrock due to QoL differences, so I thought I should finish it before I end up buying Sandrock
Congratulations fon your report this month! A good reminder that it’s not all about assassinations. Games are to be enjoyed. And a month spent no-lifing on a game we enjoy is a month well spent, and worth showing in a well crafter report like this. :)
Thanks! Yes, I’ve been trying to focus on games I want to play, and I am also trying to mix up genres between games if possible to keep things fresh. :)
