I had this game for a while, but just got recently to play it.
Well there was an update yesterday with new DLC “Stories - Father’s Promise” and there will be two new stories in 2018, so here is a Season Pass GA for the lovely community. I have read here on BLAEO many posts about this game and plenty of you enjoyed it, so i hope you like Stories as well :)
I really liked the game that i will even buy Season Pass for myself and i have never done that before :D I managed to beat it on 2nd playthough, played several days on 1st one to figure out the game mechanics since i didn’t want to use various guides to spoil the game. Once i figured it out it was easier to play, at the end i had enough food for 30 more days :D It would last even more if i fed them once every two days :D
While i enjoyed gameplay and atmosphere there were some things i didn’t like. Emilia was my 4th survivor that joined later in a game, she was useless, she was injured all the time for no reason at all. When she showed up she was injured, i healed her and tomorrow everything was ok, then the night after even without a raid she was injured again, and again, and again… Wasted too many medical resources on her, but luckily noone else needed them… Also killing some guys that attacked me first without warning made most of my team depressed… I know killing is bad, even in war, but sometimes selfdefense wasn’t enough for my people as a reason, while sometimes it was perfectly fine for them to kill…
Anyway even with those things i didn’t like i will keep playing this game from time to time, there are plenty of unplayed characters left(got 4 out of 12 so far). And even without the new Stories i would be getting back to playing it. And plenty of achievements that i have no idea what are they for, so lets hope they unlock by themself ^_^

I know i haven’t been active with posts here lately, but i have been reading yours mostly from my phone(and it is difficult to reply there :D). I hope to change that soon, since there are several games beaten since my last post and they deserve update as well :)

Thanks for making a gib for this season pass. I’ve been excited to see the game updated again after so long, I really loved the base game and the little ones DLC, so I’m happy to read that the stories DLC is good too.
It’s one of those game that is so depressing yet so compelling to play.
Yeah, it certainly isn’t a game that could be described as “fun”, but it’s hard to pull yourself away.
Yes, hard to describe it as fun game, but on the other hand i had fun playing it and enjoying it being a game. But still not something i would like for anyone to go though.
I was surprised too when i saw the update. And once i saw what it was i wanted to have it since i survived my first scenario a week ago. So just wanted share with others here that i know enjoyed game too :)
And while the topic of the game is hard and depressing one can still have fun with it, since we are aware that it is just a game :)
First off: Thanks for the GA! I totally gotta get back to that game. Considering how I bought it with a real want to play it - ugh, yeah, that def sounds strange, but something like that was it. So yeah, gotta get back to it at some point!

I am mostly fine, injured my ankle a month ago so now going everyday to physical therapy to get better and usually after that i help with babysitting my brothers 1 year old son. So i read BLAEO on my way there and back and while waiting etc, so not much replying here. But when i get back home i do the usual stuff, playing games and watching movies/TV shows :)
It is indeed! Because so far it’s been awesome and the idea behind the game is really touching and.. yeah :]

It is a lot better now then when i got injured and i am on the half of my physical therapy :) Didn’t try running yet, but i can walk fine most of the time :D
I don’t mind helping them, especially when i have the time. And it is way better then sitting in my room whole day ^_^
I wouldn’t say slave, since i enjoy doing all those things :P

Well i do hope it is over soon too :) And they don’t need to disguise since there is no point, i wont stop with them :D Maybe just lower time spent doing them, depending on available time :)
It’s a great game, and that was a good idea to try a few days to learn the mechanics since there’s no tutorial. I remember my first attempt being a bit brutal since I didn’t know that I could run (which made it hard to get anything accomplished during the day), and I didn’t know that I could reinforce the house (which led to constant raids at night), so it didn’t take long before my whole group was sick, hungry, miserable, and eventually… gone. My second playthrough was much better. :D
Well i figured after 2-3 days that i didn’t start good, so i started experimenting a little to learn more about the game. Testing how long they can live without food, how to kill opponents and to learn few areas a little so the next time i can start better :)

Bought This War of Mine during the last summer sale but still haven’t gotten around to playing it… really want to and your review helps to make me commit to it :)
I got it on HB Monthly last year and never got to play it, always thought that i would need a Little Ones DLC so waited long time to have money for it and mood to play it :D But i really liked it in the end. I think there are 15 different scenarios to play without this new Stories DLC, so plenty of things for me to play, but don’t wont to force myself with it :)
