Random Update : How I got married and divorced in 15mn.
Life can sometimes bring events which can stress you, make you laugh or both at the same time. We laughed a lot and if you’re in need of good news and to cheer for a random person (in that situation that would be me and my.. Ex/Soon husband..?), I gotcha babe !
And I even have games suggestions which don’t go with the topic at all.
Tuesday 13th April of 2021, I, Ylthin, got accidentally married to my future husband by the hand of the lady who was filling our wedding application and instead filled our wedding certificate, not knowing how to cancel what she just did. Technically we got married for 15mn, which was the time between she said “Fork, I filled the wrong file, how to I undo that ? Richard, do you know how to cancel ? I already did that once, but I forgot how to get back from it.. You don’t know ? I apologize, I accidentally filed the wedding certificate instead of application.” Us : “Does that mean we can skip the ceremony ?” Her, already at the verge of falling appart since before we were there : “I have to ask my boss, I’ll be right back.” queue her leaving to ask her boss while we were considering which option we had to divorce so we could get married at our chosen date.
We’re getting re-married the 21th December of 2021. After over 12 years together. We picked the date because it looks like this in EU : 21/12/21. We’re nerd. Also I kind of tell my future that he was 10 days late since we’re together. Aka 18/08/08. Everybody got it, I’m sure. I’m an idiot nerd (hope you got that too).
ANYWAY
Here is a selection of game which can make you cry and laugh at the same time either because you’ll have to face stupid bugs which are so stupid that they can both ruin your experience and making it funny at the same time OR games about wedding which can be funny or frustrating and why not both at the same time. Let’s be crazy.
This game fits perfectly in that category of “I want to quit this shirt” and “OMG, I’m so happy it’s a good day today because I can laugh at that bullshirt”. The game is bugged in such a way that you can go through to a bunch of crack on the floor or on the celling, either leading you 1. Being stuck forever. 2. Seeing the level design from outside, which is ugly. 3. Accidentally skipping 2/3 of a Temple. You cannot choose your option, unless you always have a rock with you, in that case you may manage to avoid 1.

I played that one 5 times and apparently didn’t really like it. Arranged wedding isn’t something common in my culture so it may have tainted my experience. I wrote “the most important part being the message at the end, the rest being easily forgettable.”
I forgot what was the message at the end. Guess that was also forgettable ?
Now this game looks pretty ? Why didn’t I like it.. Ah yeah, I don’t need to read the review, I remember.

The Dev corrected that one, but not the rest. I’m still at 5/7 achievements while having completing the game, that only one of all the horror you’ll find in that game which can ruing a very good day.
She’s wearing a wedding dress and the game itself will occupy you for 20mn. I guess that’s enough to enter in the category “game with wedding and/or glitch that will make you laugh and cry at the same time” ?
I can’t just leave you just with bullshirt games that will make you feel like shirt. Here is an excellent one which also happens to be free. It’s a romantic VN via letters. Give yourself an hour or two and enjoy that one ♥ .

Well, I guess that’s about as amicable a divorce as there could be. “We just got divorced– let’s get re-married in eight months…”
I am wondering how the marriage certificate was accepted / valid if a wedding application was never submitted.

That’s because it’s the same service that is handling marriage certificates and doing marriage application. If you were married in another town, having only the certificate can be justified. 12/11/21 ? It would have been ok too, but 21/12/21 is has funny ^^
But you can never go wrong with a palindrome in terms of appealing to nerds. ;-)
Uh… Congrats on getting married, divorced… and remarried? That sure is a story to tell your kids in the future! And your grandchildren. All basically everybody! xD

The shortest wedding lasted 3mn : “The couple hadn’t even left the courthouse where their nuptials had taken place when the woman tripped over and fell. Instead of helping her up, her new knight in shining armor called her ‘stupid’, so she marched straight back and demanded a divorce from the judge who had just married them.”
Oh wow that was an interesting story, gosh I love to joke about how my doctors had me as mrs since a baby but that is a real story about being married. Hopefully on the real date you enjoy yourself and don’t end up in a quick divorce
Legally Miss doesn’t exist anymore in France because of a very stupid thing. Someone claimed it was “unfair to distinguish unmarried women while there is no such a thing for unmarried man”. Because of that person, the “Miss” and “Ms” disappeared from every single official paper.
I don’t think any unmarried woman was actually unhappy to be called Miss, after all it’s a positive word and there is absolutely no reason to make a fuss about it. As bonus, it caused a lot of issues for all the social workers having now to make the distinction between Mrs married and Mrs not married, which can sound funny at first, but it’s not funny anymore when single women who birthed a child could have seen their help suppressed just because one single person said that it was “unfair” that there was no counterpart to Miss.
