Fourth week of March
Damn, I did some work this week even if it was pretty busy o.o I can say that I am super happy about it :) I hope it will continue on like this as well because the backlog is not gonna play itself otherwise. Additionally to the games bellow I tried 3 other games that didn’t work. 2 of them have serious issues on Windows too from what I have heard and 1 was one of those shitty games that you get free keys for it at every corner so nothing of value was lost. And to people who say but you can’t game on Linux: lol
I have also filled in my first notebook that I have for notes about the games I play and I am already a page in into the new one \o/

Review: I haven't proper finished it, but I got tried of the same shit over and over again. It is a nice board type game for the first 5 hours or so but after that it the reality that you have been doing the same thing for the last 5 hour sets in.

Review: Played with Steam Play (Proton 3.7-8) and there was some graphical glitching in the bottom and right inventory area but it was still completely playable and other than that the game ran fine and it was a simple but OK HOG.

Review: A really nice puzzle game with a whole lot of levels to play. I played it on both Windows and Linux. On Windows it worked 100% fine, on Linux with Proton 3.7-8 the numbers in the circles wouldn't show up making it really hard to play (I made my boyfriend screenshot the levels for me on his PC), but with Proton 4.2-1 all was fixed and the game runs perfectly fine. Steam cloud didn't sync the progress but it doesn't really matter with this game.

Review: Yea it definitely isn't for adults. I mean, it is a good to exercise your mental math a little bit but that is really it, there isn't any proper gameplay behind it. Is it good for kids? I can't really say since I don't have any. I guess it is a good game to practice math with but I can't imagine it being fun for them. Runs 100% with Steam Play.

Review: What the fuck is this even. The graphic are bad, the controls are bad, everything is bad.

Review: Shit game, shit controls, shit platforming and especially shit camera movement. The achievements don't work on Linux (and Mac, but AFAIK the achievement fix doesn't even work there) unless you go into the install folder and rename 2 file so Steam starts the right game up because the dev is apparently too retarded to do that even after he has been told what is wrong...

Review: Is it a good game? Yes. Does it live up to the hype? No, not for me. I did enjoy the first few hours of the game and most of the humor but at some point I just got tired of it and the bosses became just too hard for me (starting with Mettaton). Works 100% fine on Linux.

Review: I only played chapter 1-4 because that is all I own. It is a really nice point and click game and it ran very well via Steam Play except for one freeze up and not being able to put it in the background or move it around the screen when in windowed mode. I can only guess and hope that is not a problem on Windows too.

Review: This game goes into the "this shit is confusing and I don't get why people like it" pile. I did nothing but constantly getting lost because the house you are in had waaay too many fucking doors. It also had no settings and doesn't seem to work 100% right either (and not just on Linux).
Oh I never struggled myself with any of the bosses but I certainly didn’t enjoy Undertale as much as I should’ve. It’s a better game when I watch it compared to when I play it myself since its the youtubers humor that makes the game’s own humor stand out for myself
Yea, I don’t know, I guess I screwed up at the beginning by not killing enough stuff or something :/
Guess it depends what you go for. I decided to go for neutral sparing and killing. Didn’t realise I could’ve just killed everything as long as I spared the bosses and didn’t kill literally everything for the genocide route. Since I did take that route I ended up barely fighting the spider since I brought the items and made sure I saved the pie for asgore by the end to make his easier. I did ruin my second play through though. Killed a certain someone and they didn’t pop back up ruining my chances of genocide or pacifist not that I planned to do them anyway
Yea I did neutral too, I killed all the bosses except the spider (got the item as well) but spared a lot of those random enemies at the beginning. If I would have killed them I would probably have a lot easier time in the end.
Thanks for not being totally in love with Undertale, makes me feel less bad that I haven’t played it ;)
Otherwise, great backlog-clearing! That is a lot of games for one week.
I got gifted the game back in 2015… except for like 5 minutes of playtime I haven’t played it till now so you sure should not feel bad about it :D
Thank you! ^^
Seeing how short it is, however, makes me think that it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try…
I wouldn’t call it that short, but I do tend to play very short games a lot. If you own it go for it if not I will say it is still a good game but it is up to you to decide if you think it will be worth the money for it :)
I had a few harsh words for 7 Grand Steps a couple of months ago myself. I had to put it on my won’t play list. I appreciated what it was trying to do, but it was an unacceptable use of time. I ended up losing a bunch of hours because of a random death. “Making tokens” is classic, though.
Yea the idea behind it is good I think, just the execution leaves a lot to be desired :/
Draw Puzzle looks adorable, thanks for the discovery, I never had heard about it.
No problem, hope if you ever get to play it that you will enjoy it :)
I feel you re: Undertale’s difficulty. I couldn’t beat Asgore and I ended up watching the end/the rest of the next playthrough off of YouTube.
I am glad I am not the only one that had issues at least.
