Ok. Banner Saga. So I stopped bc I failed one achievement first time round. Which super annoyed me. I again failed it, but never mind that. I decided to not 100% it, just play it. So that worked out ok.
I still am not really a fan of the game. I don't much like the fighting system - I somehow never do, do I? *grimaces* But I managed on easy. I can't imagine doing it on normal, tbh.
Maybe don't read on? Maybe spoilers, but really just some thoughts here.
As for the story: I might be intrigued? But not really into it. I don't get how a world should work, if there was no sun at all, as they claim - also it's by far not dark or could enough for there really being no sun. So I guess it's not true? Just… I dunno clouds all over and they can't SEE the sun? Otherwise I wouldn't get it. Also… stone ppl? Really, I just… I don't get it. And the Varl can't reproduce? How is it possible to create a race (if we really believe there ARE gods) and… I dunno, just don't give them women or the ability to… somehow do it. Even if they would lay eggs. Or I dunno split off an arm and that grows into a new life. But nope, nothing at ALL. Weirdness. But hey, the humans can make babies. And even the stone ppl! Awesome \o/ (Are they even stone ppl? Questions over questions.)
I kinda think there might be a different outcome with some things, if I did things differently, but… I really couldn't care less at this point. I played it. I'm done. Next game!
(Why did I get the second game, without knowing if I liked the first? I REALLY have to play more first games of series, so I know whether or not I like them…)

Aww, I really liked Banner Saga! Good thing I didn’t chose it during your challenge me. I’d be quite depressed knowing you felt that way about the game. But I could understand how it’s an annoying game. At first, I wasn’t really into it. Then after a while I started to understand the fighting better and really had a lot of fun with it. Though yeah the story had some weird part but I didn’t pay much attention so in the end, I simply liked the game a lot xD
Anyway… Tomb Raider Legend?! You got courage to get back to such an old game. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it better than Banner Saga!

I was kinda whining what to play and it got picked. I’m actually having slight motion sickness playing it, but it’s ok. While I’m not really good with jumping and climbing in old games (plus the camera sucks), it’s ok.
I don’t like old games very much. So that’s always a hindrance. God, I’m such a picky person! I really am. I hate it. I don’t like old games. I don’t like most fighting systems. Plus I’m not good with most fighting systems. I don’t really like jumping - although I enjoy jumping around. And I have motion sickness. Oh right, I also get bored by VNs if I just read VNs, that’s why they are super slow going. I’m SUCH A DIFFICULT GAMER! D: xD

Nah, I liked the story too, just not as much as the fighting! So basically a reverse of your thought. I liked the fighting more than the story.

That’s just normal! xD I’m the same too. There are a few exceptions but overall I find it always hard to play an old game too.
But I understand what it is to be a difficult gamer. I got tons of games to play still and guess what I did? I bought a new one! :’ D

Nope, that’s not on my WL, but thanks for pointing it out. I’d somehow really like to have a game I really want and would play right away. It’s been quite a while I had that. Last one I remember was Mass Effect Andromeda, which I made my parents gift me, bc I wanted it THAT much. Also I wanted the super duper version and not the normal one. Oh well.
But maybe we are not difficult gamers, just… yk, unique? Like having unique tastes in movies and books and everything. What we like to eat and drink and what animal we like best. So yeah. Also super unique in games we like. Even two ppl apparently liking the same wouldn’t really like the same. Oh well. Two days, two opinions :D
oh i read it more. I only did the top half yesterday and just read the bottom bit now. Yes we need to stop buying and activating the sequels if we can’t confirm we like the original!!
I guess we really should. Maybe I should… I dunno put that into my pop rules for next month: Try to only pick games from series where I haven’t played the first one. Aka, pick the first games. Which would also limit the whole picking down a lot. Ugh, stupid Nin xD
hmm I don’t think I have enough of that. I got sequels in my medium but they are all done for the originals. The ones not done are in short so I’m all out. I don’t have many 1st in the series games excluding hogs so I would just have literally 1 person who does the very long doing it.

You wrote a review! And I read it. Unfortunate that you did not really like the game. On the other hand, as you said, you played it and it’s done now. 13 hours is not tooooooo long either, so I guess at least it was short, definitely shorter than Hitman :D

It was a Long game in my book, but I sorted it, thinking I’d 100% it. Oh well shrugs DEFINITELY shorter than Hitman xD
Well maybe I’ll even like the next part. I dunno. Difficult to say. Just gotta wait and see I guess :D
Well, in case you start Banner Saga 2 soon, I hope you’ll enjoy it more than the first part :)
