So I had this error at first. With red text all over (in case the screenshot is showing up, you can look at it :] ). Turns out it's bc I sometimes simultaneously pressed RT and LT on the controller. Turns out the game does not like that. Good to know, right? Well also good to know in case you like red text on your screen :] (Just in case you don't like it but it happens to you: press them a few times - well yk like first the one and before letting go the other one. Solved the problem for me. And totally avoid pressing them together. It's annoying…)
Alright about the game: It's been a while since I played Yesterday. Since it has no cheevos, I can't tell when I played it, but I got it 2012, so could be a while ago :D
In short I didn't remember everything. Bits and pieces but not the whole story. I do know though, I liked it. In it's twisted and bizarre way. So I expected nothing less from this one. And! It delivered! It cleared up a lot of questions, it shows you a lot of past thingies - sadly my game didn't show me at some point the mirror images. It's interesting how we try to overcome the constant memory loss and move forward. Only to realize… oh, right. That might be a spoiler :D
We are traveling back to New York - we even have a reference to the bad guy from the last game which is funny enough. Well if you do it right that is :D We get to hear a lot of "Shit" - also refreshing :D And then there is the end, that I never expected that way. I like it, when games do stuff like that :)
All in all: I liked it! Did I say I'm over Point&Click adventures? Certainly not, if they turn out like this one :)
Recommendation? Yep, well, but play Yesterday first
Cat Story ahead!
So I think Tizio might have tried to scare me. Or in fact – he was scared! O.O
See I was gaming. Totally chill, totally relaxed, totally quiet. Honestly, nothing too exciting and me jumping around and swearing or anything. Tizio was sleeping in the hammock. Totally chilled, relaxed and quiet. And all of a sudden, he moves, turns his head and hisses ever so softly. Not in my direction though but more in the vague direction of his butt. Almost as if Ameno suck up on him and shoved his nose in Tizios fur at the lower back. But obv there was no Ameno. There was nobody. Only Tizio being ever so irritated. And me staring at him and wondering what the heck just happened.
Then we calmed down again. He went back to sleeping and I resumed gaming.
Folks, I need your help!
I’ve probably made the biggest mistake ever!
It’s totally ceramic related – bc my most fatal mistakes seem to evolve around that atm xD
Since I’ve finished my latest work (see pic below), I needed something new. Ugh, yes, I could have finally finished my zodiac sign mug series or painted the last eggholder. But I didn’t. I also didn’t start with x-mas presents, which would probably have been the smartest thing. I didn’t! I wasn’t smart! Instead (!) I wanted to paint a new yarn bowl with some Text inside: “To boldly knit what no man has knit before” and paint a spaceship on the outside. We looked into stuff, saw an awesome technical drawing of USS Voyager aaaaaaaaaaaand now I’m painting that on a plate.
So the idea evolved a bit. Turned into: Making a soup plate with the spaceship in space aaaaaaaaand a cake plate with the captain of the ship. Also… taking different ships, so I’ll have a set of six in the end. Yes, this is for myself. Here is the thing: I can’t seem to come up with enough space ships, if I only take one out of each universe.
I’ve got so far:
Voyager (Star Trek)
Millennium falcon (Star Wars)
TARDIS (Doctor Who)
Normandy (Mass Effect)
Any ideas for the last two?
Bc although I’ve seen more, there doesn’t seem to be any ship in particular I love enough to add. I thought about the guardian of the galaxy ship, but let’s face it: I’m not that big a guardian of the galaxy fan o.o
What would you add to the list? Happy to hear any ideas you’ve got :)

You could use it specifically to eat things that have round things like spaghetti or some cereals

Although I’d very much like to have more games included in the project… these are most certainly games I’d run away from O.O

I DID think about that! I’d totally like a Reaper or the ship from the Collectors or… an Asari ship or… man!
But then the rest is only like the “good” side. Who’d wanna eat dinner from the bad guys? :D

Wanted to suggest Collectors too, but I thought that it would be hard for design, Reaper is just overgrown octopus. XD

How about the USCSS Nostromo, from Alien, or the USS Sulaco from Aliens? Maybe the crashed ship where they find the first face hugger in the first movie?
I’m a bit worried you’ll put me on ignore after I wrote this: I’ve actually never saw one of the Alien movies o.o
You should! They’re genuinely very good movies, so good that even people who don’t normally like sci-fi monster movies tend to love them. Well, the first two movies are, the third one is fine, but not spectacular, 4th is watchable, and what came after that is best ignored (AvP, Alien Covenant and so on. Actually, Alien Covenant is one of those movies that makes what game before it worse, as it explains things that should not have been explained, and in a way that makes the things less interesting and it makes the universe feel a lot smaller)
Aright, I’ll put it on my movies list. Although I rarely watch movies atm. But! If/when I do, I’ll think of them :)

Yes! I’m doing it. Stupid thing atm: I’m not really paying attention for the second run and only click through it as far as I can actually click through it. That’s a shame tbh o.o

A shame you weren’t playing something spooky like Alien: Isolation (fits even more perfectly with the cat in the first movie Alien).
You already chose one of my favorite spacecraft (The Normandy), and I know this is a bit late, but here are some more just in case. USCSS Nostromo (Alien), Pillar of Autumn (Halo), or Covenant Heavy Cruiser (Halo), these aren’t particular special in anyway, but the only ones I can think of… y’know despite my love for SciFi I don’t really know that many ships… I should be ashamed D: . Anyways, enough of being in the past and to return to the present post(s). [Great job on the controller case, looks really good.]

And yeah, I still got that in the back of my mind. Taking a second one from both ST and SW. Which ultimately would be Deep Space Nine aaaaaaaaaand… mhm… I dunno, an imperial ship - yk the big ones? - or the deathstar - that would be pretty neat - oooooor Luke little thingy. Or one of the big rebel ships.. or damn! There are a lot of ships in those two universes (is there an s at the end? o.O) already!

Wie gesagt die Surprise war auch mehr als Scherz gedacht. Sieht dann doch zu sehr nach männlichem Geschlechtsteil aus. Würde nicht unbedingt von so einem Teller essen wollen XD

Naja, meinem Opa hätte das sicherlich gefallen. Der hat von seinen Kollegen, der Glasbläser war einen Salzstreuer in selbiger Form bekommen. Den hat er stolz jedes Wochenende auf den Esstisch gestellt.

Stimmt meine andere Oma und Opa hätten sich sowas nie auf den Tisch gestellt, das waren aber diejenigen, die mich mit 13 fragten ob ich Tips bräuchte für potentielle Partner. Sie könnten da helfen, da gäbe es gute Bücher drüber. Allerdings sind die auch auf dem Land groß geworden, da sah man das nicht so eng.
Mhm. Meine Oma kam auch vom Land. Und we gesagt, die wäre umgefallen. Meine Tante hat wol als Teenie iwann angefangen Bücher zu lesen um zu entscheiden, ob sie für Oma jugendfrei genug sind :D
