Let’s see Santa’s gifts at home…but probably I will fall to buy the last games for a season. My idea is not buy anything in 2021 until summer sale (at least) to focus more on my backlog.
I totally forgot about it. I just remembered when I checked my activity feed and saw people buying a lot of games. That doesn’t usually happen unless there’s a sale. XD

I have not (yet) bought one thing for myself…why is my backlog crying anyways? Maybe because I have crazy friends O_o
My wallet welcomes the sale compared to the PC upgrade I’m doing.
So far managed to only buy 2 games with ~$4 in wallet: Heat Signature, BadLands RoadTrip
I might get Fall Guys and a heavily discounted AAA game so I can break in the RTX 3080 I just got. The only RTX game I think I have is Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I probably got a free COD game code with the GPU, but not sure how much I’ll enjoy it since I dont play many FPSs.
Upgrading the PC is always expensive. I’ll probably do by next year but little by little.
That’s cool - I tend to wait to upgrade my CPU every 6-7 years and GPU 3-4 years. This year they both intersected, so I saved up enough this year to make it happen
A lot of the games I was waiting for this sale are still pretty expensive.. So we’ll see. If I get a sudden urge to play one of them immediately, and for the next few days I’ll buy one haha.
Otherwise, to the backlog!
Yeah, I checked my whislist, and just 3 titles has a 75% discount. Other even don’t have any sale (Hello Tecmo - Koei). So who knows
Yep - a lot of the games I’ve been looking at have also been cheaper on Fanatical/GMG/Humble as well.
I’m not sure if I can justify buying games with a backlog haha. Tempted by a couple though with my steam funds!
I was running out of games to play so I bought a few this time. Normally sales are a bit quiet for me. I hope everyone finds good deals for the games they want.
Some DLC aside to complete games I already own, I’ve resisted temptation so far for two reasons: waiting for Humble Choice so I don’t have to refund games and waiting to see if other sites will match or outdo Steam with their own sales. Good old “wait for the last day of the sale unless it’s a CRAZY good deal” applies to me.
It’s a good tactic. I remember to buy more in other shops than on steam last summer sales.
