This is my first day here, and to be honest right now I’m checking this posting device, so I decided to day hello, and note for future me, how many games I have in my backlog.

Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy your game also very surprised by how many games I noticed in your won’t play. Typically I don’t recognise the games or the ones I do I know are terrible but there’s a few popular ones there so it’s to bad you don’t want to play them. Hopefully your remaining games are better for you
I put there every game I played but didn’t finish and just get enough of it. So for more famous:
Antichamber - play to about half, get a bit too hard and I just got tired.
Bioshock - I have remastered version and I want to play that one (it should be on my “never played”)
Borderlands GOTY Enhanced - played through original. Don’t want to play again.
Guacamelee - same here - I have two version, I finished one, dropped the second
Condemned, Dead Space, FEAR, Layers of fear - I HATE horrors, so no, thanks
Hitman GO, Hotline Miami - bit too hard in the end. I cannot say i beat it. Same with Meat Boy
Just Cause 2 - I have 30-40 hours there. Finally got bored
Etc, etc. Basically it’s my place for “I played a lot, but got enough” and for my doubles.
I understand. For the ones I played but had enough of, I created an Essentially abandoned category. Only difference is that I set them to Unfinished instead of Won’t Play. For the ones where I’ve played another version, I have a Have played elsewhere / other version category. I set them to Unfinished, Beaten, or Completed based on how far I got in the other version.

Simple reason. I like the idea of challenges. I see you are challenging with both “never played” and “unfinished” category. If I ever participate, I don’t want to be challenged with those games.
Ah when I posted that I did consider you might’ve classed them like this where you played but just done with it. I just got my bioshock in beaten since I done the remastered so I didn’t end up with stuff like that and deponia making a big red mark on my profile
Thats basically the same percentage of wont play as me and a quite fair reason. sad for terraria though
My thing is I also have a catagory rogue/multiplayer/endless where I put games without an end, ora multiplayer campaign/section I only play with other people, and roguelikes that while they technically have an end (binding of issac has a devil boss and yourself in these super far areas I’ve never been to etc) I mark as beaten after I’ve had enough of them.
also same as Trent I’ve just marked games I’ve beaten elsewhere/with a different version as beaten cause I can’t be bothered to replay them.
