This month the BLAEO community decides which games deserve some extra attention!

The theme includes games that we most enjoyed playing in 2019. It doesn’t matter what the game’s release year is; what matters is that the members of the BLAEO community played it in 2019 and liked it so much that they want to see other assassins enjoy it too.

The list of games is available here. If you haven’t posted your own list yet, you can still do so at any point this month.

Do I have to participate in this month’s theme?
No, as with every theme, these are merely suggestions for anyone who is unsure about what to play next. If you already have a battle plan for your backlog and/or don’t like this month’s theme, you’re free to ignore it.

What happens if I don’t participate in the monthly theme?
Nothing.

What happens if I play all of my unfinished games this month?
Your backlog will be a much smaller place.

I bought Lost in Harmony during the sale after seeing the recommendation because it looked great! But there’s no rebindable keys in game sadly. :(The options on launch aren’t doing anything (tried changing arrow keys to wasd and there’s no option at all to change the ‘guitar hero’ notes - s d f g is too uncomfortable/hard for me to play with). Am bummed because the art and music was cool, but after beating 2 levels ik it’s not gonna be enjoyable.

Gris was so incredibly beautiful. I think it’s the first game to ever make me tear up from happiness, let alone sad ones as well. Stunning art, music, story…cannot recommend enough. Minor complaints is not being able to backtrack after certain areas and having to redo a handful of platforming areas which were a slight pain, but the pros absolutely outweigh any ‘cons’ if you can even call ‘em that. The atmosphere is unreal.

Just finished GRIS and it leaves me spechless. Such a beauty of a game. Play this! It’s really, really close to perfect.
